Pride in Leadership Mentoring Launch
Why mentoring is important for LGBT leaders, and how you can sign up for Pride in Leadership Mentoring.
We invite you to an online event hosted by Matt Haworth, co-founder of Pride in Leadership, as we introduce our new Pride in Leadership Mentoring programme. During this session, Matt will walk you through our brand new online platform, explain how you can sign up to be a mentor or a mentee, and discuss why mentoring is a crucial tool for empowering LGBTQ+ leaders.
This event will also delve into insights from our recent survey, which highlighted the urgent need for more LGBTQ+ role models in leadership positions. Whether you’re looking to give back by mentoring or seeking guidance to advance your own career, this event will show you how the Pride in Leadership Mentoring programme can help you grow, connect, and thrive in the world of leadership.

Why LGBTQ+ mentoring matters
LGBTQ+ professionals often face barriers to advancement, from bias and discrimination to a lack of visible role models. Pride in Leadership Mentoring aims to break down these obstacles by offering LGBTQ+ leaders the chance to connect with mentors who can guide them, share insights, and provide advice tailored to their unique challenges.
Who is this for?
Mentees | This mentoring scheme is open to all LGBTQ+ leaders, regardless of career stage, age, or sector. Whether you’re taking your first steps into leadership or have years of experience, if you’re facing specific challenges or barriers, this initiative is for you.
Mentors | We are looking for mentors who can offer support, share experiences, and help others overcome obstacles. Ideal mentors should have strong communication skills and a deep understanding of the unique experiences and challenges that LGBTQ+ professionals face.
Don’t miss this opportunity to become a mentor, find a mentor, or simply learn more about the Pride in Leadership Mentoring programme.
